This entry-level role offers hands-on experience and the opportunity to work towards your AAT qualification (Online Self Study package)—perfect for school leavers or those seeking a career change.
You will work as part of the Resourcing & Compliance Team, in this Full-Time position, from our “NEW” Leamington Spa office.
What you’ll be doing:
- Assist with basic bookkeeping tasks, including recording transactions and maintaining accurate ledgers.
- Support with preparing VAT returns and bank reconciliations.
- Support the preparation of periodic financial overview reports.
- Learn to use and apply accounting software to support daily tasks.
- Handle general administrative duties to support the finance team.
- Contribute to various client projects, gaining exposure to different sectors.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
What You’ll Get:
- Entry salary between £18,000 and £23,500 per annum.
- Full financial support to achieve your AAT Level 2 qualification.
- 35 hour working week, (2pm finish on Friday’s)
- 22 days holiday + bank holidays.

What We’re Looking For:
- Holds GCSEs at grade 5 (C) or higher in Maths & English. (You need to be capable of multiplication and percentage calculations, as you will be required to do manual calculations. Although training will be provided).
- A strong interest in pursuing a career in accounting, whether you’re starting fresh or transitioning from another field.
- Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to tasks.
- A positive, can-do attitude and a willingness to learn.
- An excellent communicator (verbal & written)
- A personable, empathetic team player who is goal driven.
- Reliable and committed to achieving AAT qualification.
Hours: Mon to Thu 08:30 till 16:30 & Fri 08:30 till 14.00
